Ten students in grades 8 through 12 spent a week at the Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) robotics camp offered by the Department of Engineering and the College of Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science K12 Outreach. After completing the VEX Robotic Challenge, seven competitors took home prizes. The competition required the robots to perform specific tasks for points using the theme of homeland security.
